Removing characters from Edit Box/String

Heya,

Here's my issue:

I am trying to parse data from an XML API. One block I need, the product description, is parsing just fine, but the returned text has a bunch of HTML codes buried in the paragraphs.

Is there a way I can remove these characters so the display for the end-user looks nice?

Below is an example of what I am looking at:

How would one go about removing all of those "&lt;br/&gt;&lt;br/&gt;"?

This is for iOS.

Any help or guidance is greatly appreciated.

If you get this from a webservice, you should maybe make your own webservice which get all the data required by your app and then make your app connects to your webservice. It will be lighter than processing it by the app and faster to download.

Can't you use the String parser to replace all those occurences?
