Expression Editor Limit???

Hi
Im doing some physics expressions in MMF2, and the expressions get quite long.
In fact its getting so long that MMF2 dont understand the expression and returns an error message.

"Cannot understand expression - place correct it or press cancel"

I dont believe its the computation getting too complex or demanding, since if i just copy paste 1+ long enough, the expression gets too big and OK just triggers the error message.

What is the reson for this limit in the Expression Editor?

I believe it's a character limit? Maybe cut down the expression by doing some of the calculations separately and then storing their results as variables that you work with in the larger expression.

Yes thats what i ended up doing, no big deal realy.
But its still a strange kinda limit to have.
I wonder if there is a good reason for such a limit though...

There are two limits in the expression editor: One is a character limit "Expression too long" and the other is an operation limit "Expression too complex". It helps to figure out which one you have before you start optimising your formula.
