This game was on the news this morning and they said it has sold over 2 million copies. Seems like a simple game, but hard to figure out the mechanics IMO. It goes to show you that a simple game can be very profitable! Wow, 2 million sold!!

LOL,.I thought there was a fee for the game. .99 and upgrades up to 4.99. I heard that on the news. Oh well,.still 2 million is a lot and if it's free the owner of the game is probably kicking themselves for not charging for it.

divide that number by between 20 and 2000, had it not been free. Some devs are even offering "play the game for long enough, earn free stuff" - effectively pricing their game at LESS than free, just to get noticed now. Industry's growing in odd directions...

I think you can buy stuff in the game for real money, but I don't think the sales are adding up into the millions or anything.

I looked at the game and I'm not really impressed. I don't get the draw... it's literally just a super simplified match game.

Yeah, it's nothing original. I've seen other games use the touch/slide to connect and clear groups gameplay before, and the graphics are super sparse, and I don't think it has any sound. Using the AGBO, you could recreate this game fairly easily.
