    App pricing idea

    Hey guys,

I have a platform game im making at the moment that has four "chapters" each containing 6 levels. I want to offer the first chapter free and then you can buy each additional chapter for a small price. You can only unlock a level by completing the previous one etc. Theres one thing that I don't quite get though..If you buy chapter 2, does that have to be a complete fresh install of the app? like a version? the problem being I don't want players to lose where they are up to when purchasing a new chapter, also you shouldn't be able to play level 1 of chapter 2 without first completing level 6 of chapter 1.

Hope that makes sense, if anyone can help me out with an explanation or possible solution that would be great.

    Cheers

Make the chapters an in-app purchase (which doesn't require a re-install), and only allow the player to play those levels once levels 1-6 in the previous chapter have been beaten. That would be the best way of doing it.
