An Intel mac is something you should look for. This is a G4. I´m pretty sure you find a good intel mac mini or mac book (2010) for the same price or for less!

I think that the minimum requirement for XCode is an Intel core duo processor, and that will soon need to be a minimum of a core 2 duo as Apple are always raising the minimum requirements.

Even if you can somehow make it work, it will be painfully slow to work with. I would recommend the minimum speed of 1.66ghz mac mini, but really 1.8ghz or above would be recommended. I know they still quite expensive though.

You might be able to get a cheaper 1.66ghz and replace the ram and put in a 1.83ghz cpu. This is what I have done as the only use I have for a mac is building xcode so I didn't want to pay too much.

    I hope that helps :-)
