    Licensing Question

So I have a copy of MMF2 Dev on my home desktop, and as an indie developer I like to do game jams. Will there be any problems with a second installation onto my laptop for portable development.....

No, there wouldn't. This has been brought up sometimes, and the answer is always that you can install MMF2 on several devices as long as they are your devices and you're the one using them

I will point out that my second installation of Fusion--on my laptop--cannot update properly. Every time it checks for updates, it fails. I've always suspected it to be a licensing issue given that I used my product key once already to install it on my desktop (and that one updates fine). Is that a licensing issue?

    Re: Licensing Question

It's really strange insofar as I had lots of computers (all were mine) and they updated properly...

It sounds like a firewall or something is blocking the update.
You can download the update directly from the forum and run the EXE instead of using the internal update feature if thats true.

This isn't a symptom of violating the license so that's not the problem.
