SuperCastlevania 4 Whip Swing with MMF2?

    http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=TxhUR...ature=youtu.be

I want to create the whip swing for my fan-game from this game. I tried going to: http://ultimatewalrus.com/uwexamples.php but the mfa links are not working for me. (Particularly Spring-Chain and Spring-Chain 2)

Where do I even begin with this? Obviously you need a active object and you have to make a animation for contact with that active object. I also want the character to be able to swing back and forth on the active object (Whip Hook) with his whip as long as he is holding the button down and pressing left or right for momentum. Additionally, I want to be able to extend the whip from shorter to longer while the character is attached to the active object. (Whip Hook)

Can someone help me out with an solid example? I don't think anyone has accurately been able to recreate this movement with MMF2 and I really need it for my game. Please be specific with me as possible so I may learn! Thank you for everyone who has helped me out so far!

I checked out those examples, hmmm. Not exactly what I was thinking. It should be more like the example I posted above. Guess those didn't help out as much as I thought. Could someone help me out further?

I won't have time (or the ability) to separate it out of what's it in currently even if it can be used, but closer to September I'll be able to help you potentially if you need it. Let me know!

Briefly looking at what I programmed, I'm positive it could be used as a grappling hook after some minor modifications.
Well, I am most likely gonna need it so when you get a chance you can post it or send it my way. In the mean time I am going see what Pineapple sent me!
