    Unhappy Performance problem

    Hello again my friends,

I'm using the latest beta of MMF2 and the latest beta of iOS7.

I don't know why, but before, my game run really good and smooth on my iPhone 4. But now, I'm testing my new updated version and it are slow...

Maybe this can be my ios7 version?

    Best regards!

Are you using iOS 7 on your iPhone 4?

I've noticed everything just seems a little slower since that update. Apple should have just left the 4 on 6.1.3. But, they still have another month to optimize it.

I'd probably try restoring and installing iOS 7 fresh on the device.

One thing you can do to get better performance is to enable the Fastest option in the compile just like the Release version is always set to. Go to Build settings and type Debug in the Filter to find these settings.

paobrasil - have you tried rebooting your iPhone4 since you installed iOS 7? They tend to be a bit slow after new iOS update until you do. Just hold down the power button until you get the Slide to Power Off. Slide and wait for screen to go off. Then hold the power button until you see the Apple Logo. Longshot, but worth a try!

Also having problems with iOS 7. Game will run for half a minute then fps will drop. Task-switching out then back in helps but then same issue occurs. Could this be related to the same issue I was having in iOS 6? There was still some lag after multitasking (with same fix) but it wasn't this bad. The new control centre may be partly responsible perhaps? Although this would not explain why it was happening in the previous iOS.

I'm also seeing issues on iOS 7.0.3 on the iPhone 5.

I just updated my iPhone 5 and now I'm seeing the framerate drop by half now.
It runs fine on my iPhone 4 which is still on iOS 6.

More specifically when iOS elements such as the GameCenter notification and IAPs popup on top of the app is when the slow down happens. Or if a notification pops up while using the app.
The slowdown remains until the app is shutdown.

This is not compiling with the new SDK however. This is with the old SDK since my mac book won't let me update Xcode. I had to test the app by using adhoc mode since I can't directly test on the iPhone 5 since the new update.
