    lacewing global feature not working

I connected to a server (ledev.org) and set my name on the first frame. Then I jump to the second frame. At the start of the frame I'm supposed to connect to a channel, however this does not work. Trying to set a string to my name in lacewing doesn't work either. The lacewing relay object is in both frames and the global property is checked on both of them. I remember using this feature before and it was working fine, what happened? Am I doing something wrong? Thanks.

ledev.org seemed to be down last time I checked. That is probably your problem.

I had an alterable string change to "connection successful" if it connected fine and it worked. So I assume that it's still up and running. I'll try another server and see if the problem still happens I guess.

Hm, I guess it's back online, then. I guess I should try connecting to it again sometime soon, then...

When did you jump to the next frame? When you used "Set name" or when "On name set" was triggered? You have to wait for the name to be successfully set before you can try joining a channel.
Working as fast as I can on Fusion 3

Thanks LB, that fixed it. I should've tested the on name set condition before switching frames.
