    Can't build with ControlX

I'm trying to build my application, but I'm getting the message that ctrlx.mfx is not compatible with the type of build I'm making. This worked perfectly on my stationary computer, but it won't work on my laptop.

I'm using the newest version of MMF 2, any ideas what might be causing this?

This is the message I'm getting, lots of other mfx files don't work.

What is your build type set to? eg windows EXE, Flash, Java, iOS, Android, etc.
Should be fine for windows EXE, but not for iOS (and maybe some of the others)

What runtime are you building it to? EXE? If so, then, yeah, that shouldn't be happening. Otherwise, it's probably because you are building to a runtime that doesn't actually support those objects. However, since most runtimes support some of those objects, it's strange that it would throw an error because of them. Could you perhaps try the latest beta version of MMF2, or do you already have that? That's pretty much all that I can think of, other than maybe some form of corruption, or an installation issue, or some sort of other weird issue like that.

I have the version that the updater in the software recommended, I'm trying to build to a regular .exe. I don't know why it's doing this, maybe a reinstall is in order?

The auto-updater is broken, and won't update to the latest version (even the latest stable one), as far as I know (that has been my experience with it, anyway). Also, as strange as it may sound, the betas can actually be more stable than the latest version (especially the latest one, since it's a release candidate).

I just reinstalled the software, and the problem persists. Could the problem lie in the extensions themselves?

Ah, I didn't notice, sorry. Maybe you could try re-installing the objects that are having difficulties, or have you already tried?
