    Box 2D 2.0 and Floating Objects?

    I found this nice tutorial online that has been helping me with the Box 2D 2.0 Extension. The only thing I can't figure out is how to make floating objects.

    What do I need to do put in so that I can have objects float with water physics? I already have active objects for my barrel and the water layer...

    First off, you didn't need to bump the post so soon. Second off, I'm pretty sure the test bed example that comes with the Box2D object has a frame that demonstrates objects floating in water, you might want to check it out.

    My bad, I am in the middle of trying to figure some things out and I need that example.

    I don't think so , I have the box 2d and box 2d examples and I don't see it.

    There are the list of box 2d examples that I have, no water....

    What? No testbed? I thought for sure that came with Box2D. The testbed example is the one I was talking about, but it seems you don't have it, and I don't know where to get it. Maybe you are using an old version of the Box2D object? I'm almost certain it comes with the testbed example, so I don't see what else could have caused you to not have it. The testbed, by the way, is multiple examples in one. Out of the examples you have, the example called basic is the only one that comes with Box2D to my knowledge, but the testbed example should also come with it. Strange...

    hmmmm.I dunno dude. I have the old Box 2D, but I could never get it to work with my MMF2. Recently, I managed to snag the Box 2D 2.0 and that one runs fine, but I don't have "testbad" in that one. Maybe someone could help us out...

    Wow, anyone try the mfa's posted by Nivram above in 2.5?. They do some weird stuff. Compatibility issues for sure.
