I can't get it accept any sound files

To check the build number, click on the "help" button on the menu bar at the top of the screen, then click the "about" button on the drop-down menu that shows up after doing that. Here is a screenshot that should help you figure it out:

Ya it's build R257.12. I guess I should tell them about it or get a refund or something if no one knows what's wrong with it. Do you have any other idea what could be wrong with it?

Well, it could be the fact that you are using a Mac, but I'm not sure that is the problem. Since you've registered your copy of MMF2DEV, how about you try downloading the latest beta version of MMF2DEV, and seeing if that fixes it? If not, I personally am out of ideas at the moment, but maybe someone else will be able to help you...

thanks, if figured out what I was doing wrong I was pressing from application instead of from file when I selected a sound file. Sorry, I should have seen that.
