    connectin point example problem

I am trying to build a laser using:
    http://www.castles-of-britain.com/co...ntsexample.mfa
It almost works, but not quite. My beam is extending beyond the bottom of the stationary object and the moving object. I have replicated the code as exactly as I can, using my own objects in replacement. I am working with someone else so cannot really upload my code. it belong to them as well so it complicates matters for showing what is wrong. I could build it to show, if it will help. I really need this work, any suggsetions.

Well if no one can help with the problem directly, can you suggest another way to accuratly and precisely draw a line between 2 objects that can be detected as an active, and that emits from a single point. Preferably without using addons.

Did you check the hot point of your objects ... ? They need to be at the middle of your objects (and beam)
If the line/beam is extending beyond the objects, it's probably because of these points... ?

thanks for the help, unfortunatly that did not seem to be the problem. I have solved it in another fashion however. I took the objects and actions and copy and pasted them from the original to my project, then made careful tests as I edited them to work along my logic. clearly when I was manually transfering the system yesterday, I failed to understand something or input something very wrong. I have not Idea what I did, it realy does look the same to my eyes, but it works. thats what I needed. thanks again for the help.
