Thumbs up mmf2 limitations login possible?

    Hi!

Here's the deal: Yesterday I finished my first app. Then I made a advertisement just for fun in a local newpaper that I make simple apps for small businesses that are in need of an aplication. Then I was contacted by a man who has a construction company. I showed him the app I made and then he wanted me to create an app for his business.
It seems like it's some kind of online shop we're talking about.. He wants the customers to be able to log in, make a "buy list" of construction material, choose quantity, calculate the weight and search for material. I was not sure if it was possible.. It does seem like complicated but not impossible.. Should I accept? And how much should I ask for this?

    Thanks

    John

I'm thinking that it is possible, but it will almost certainly require you know enough PHP to be able to use the GET object a lot. I personally haven't used the GET object, so I wouldn't know just how feasible the project is, but I do know that it is probably possible. I just don't know whether or not it is going to be worth it (someone else probably will, though).

Yes this would be very possible.
You will be using the GET object extensively to communicate with a webserver for your log ins and perhaps even storing the customers buy list.

I think you would also want to store all your construction material data online so you can easily update, add and delete the content.

I am not really sure what you would bid on this -- It depends on how long you think it will take you to come to grips with the GET objects and PHP scripting to make the back end work. The work in fusion for this type of app should be relatively easy.

Now if he expects people to pay for the materials via your app -- Well that opens up a whole other can of worms.

Before you agree or price out anything -- Make sure both you and the customer agree on every aspect of what the app will do -- So he isn't surprised later it doesn't do "X" or "Y"
