Move player while he's on a moving platform?

FYI: I'm using the Platform movement object
Hi, I don't know how to do this, I tried doing xpos+1 or xpos-1 but that didn't work.
I'll send the mfa if it's needed.

The principle is to set the Y or X coordinate to the player's current coordinate, plus the speed of the moving platform. If you are using path movement for the moving platforms, this would be more difficult though. You should also set Y velocity to 0 when the player lands on a platform, so that when he gets off, he is not falling really fast.

I have got horizontal platforms also working for a game I'm working on. I can whip up an example if you want.
    They are horizontal
I'm using X to move the platform not path movement
