Move a group of objects with the mouse (snap to grid)

Having trouble with moving a group of objects with the mouse.

I have set up X number of objects which all have the same "group" Alterable Value. When you click on any of the objects with the mouse, then all of the objects with that same "group" Alterable Value get selected. Then, while the mouse button is held down and you move the mouse cursor, I want the selected group of objects to move with it and to a grid of 16 x 16.

I know that to move an object to the grid, you use: XMouse/Gridsize*Gridsize. But this would put all the objects at the exact mouse coordinates overlapping eachother, instead of their relative positions.

What is the method achieve this? I know this should be really simple math but I can't get it to work.

you need to save in each object, their distance between each others.
