Using MMF for creating presentations on an I-PAD

    Hi folks,

I use MMF for creating business presentations and make extensive use of Active Pictures, Quicktime, etc. I was planning on using the IOS export module to do this but from what I can see, it doesn't appear that these objects are supported. Can someone clarify this for me?

    Thanks

    Chris D

Hi and welcome to the forum.

The Active Picture object is supported through iOS however the Quicktime object isn't. Fear not as you can stream/load MOV files through the iOS Video Object or via WebView.

    Danny,

Thanks for the input. Based on your comments it looks like there is a chance to export my applications to the IPAD.

By chance, do you know if the application I create can be loaded directly into the IPAD without having to go through the Apple process (I-Tunes or whatever it is that is used for mass-distribution)? The application I am working on will only be distributed to our sales force so I am hoping to just provide them with a USB thumb drive and have them load the application from that.

    Hey Chris,

Unfortunately, it's a bit of a tight-area that. You could keep it in debug mode (through Ad-Hoc) testing but you will see need to keep regenerating license keys.

Have you ever thought about Android? It has all the features you require, is a LOT less time for development and you don't need to pass it through Google Play to distribute it privately to Android tablets...
