Suggest you reconsider upgrade discount for Humble Bundle buyers/serials

Hi guys and girls, signed up just to post this message so sorry if its a little too forward for my first post.

Very nice to receive MMF V2 as part of the weekly Humble Bundle. Thankyou.

Straight away I realised that the version I received is getting a little long in the tooth and has been superseded by Fusion 2.5

I noticed that there is no upgrade discount available to Humble Bundle buyers which I think is perhaps a mistake even though I can understand your reasoning. However I feel you are shooting yourself in the foot by not giving what is potentially a very large number of new customers access to a further discount (50k+ new customers as you are no doubt aware).

Humble Bundle buyers tend to be bargain hunters, and in many cases are actually somewhat addicted to bargain hunting. As such, not giving an upgrade discount to this group of customers gives them the impression they are not as worthy and may be a bit of a slap in the face even if they did just get your software for a couple of bucks. Yes in reality your existing customer base is likely more worthy of a discount but in my opinion, ignoring the thousands of potential new customers that might have been ready to buy your product if they could have received a discount is a very big marketing mistake.

Im not saying this because I want a discount (Im probably not likely to upgrade anyway) however I felt you guys deserved some candid feedback on your marketing. I suggest you strike whilst the iron is hot and reverse your discount decision whilst MMF is still fresh in the mind of the Humble Bundle buyer. We have a short attention span and we like getting discounts.

Actually, Humble Bundlers are eligible for upgrade vouchers. I just requested mine yesterday.

On the Mmf2.5 thread on Reddit as well as elsewhere here in the news section, Kisguri said that that does not apply to the Humble Bundle.
On that quote you posted Humble Bundle was mention just after promotional and just before time limited versions, it was posted by Jeff, but if you scroll down you can see it was edited out by Kisguri a few days afterwards.
I.e it's not a free upgrade but a $39 upgrade.
