I figured out late last night that when I drop a Quick Backdrop on the side, and do Duplicate.
Then I can doubleclick on the duplicate and add a picture, and that's visible.
When I do the same way in my project, i am not seeing the picture when I run the frame, but in yours it does.
The properties are the same, so there has to be something else that's making it work properly..
Going to play some more later tonight..
So far it's eating all my time

it was "Motif". That makes things a lot easier for that part.

How do I get the red X in the front of the 1st rule ? I can't seem to find it in any of the menu's so it's probably very simple..

The "X" means the event is negated. If you right-click on the condition, and select the "negate" option, it either adds the red X or removes it if it is already there. Negated conditions make them check for the opposite. For example, if you negate an object overlap test, then it will check for when the object isn't overlapping.

For some reason, I cannot find the difference why the mouse movement is different then in your example.
Why is the highlighted square not moving on the correct positions?
I played with the XMouse / YMouse setting, but since the squares are all 25p x 25p I am assuming that at the and I use / 25 * 25 .
I added + 20 to get it centered (That seems at least what it does)

but for some reason, it goes out of sync/ not line up anymore..
    and everything looks the same.
    What am I missing?

Guess I am not getting the logic.
    What I did was a cell is 25 x 25
    so when I do (1 line) 25 x 25 (1 line) 25x25 (1 line) 25 x 25 (1 line) 25x25 (1 line) 25x25 (1 line) = 1 + 25 + 1 + 25 + 1 + 25 +1 +25 +1 + 25 = 130 pixels
But I guess that's not how it works then ?
Is yellow backdrop without the lines (it doesn't know that I guess you can say that? )

Also the other thing I noticed..

    When you have 2 objects

    1 Grid
    2 Yellow backdrop

if you put the Y position both to 100, shouldn't they both be set on 100 ? if so then Why does it look on the layout way off?
1 = set to 100 and the yellow is put on 35 but shows 100 for the Y position in the properties

ok, I started all over and stared at this the whole day, and have no clue what I am missing here.

I have an OLD and a NEW version.
in the Old frame everything is working, but I could not move the grid anywhere where I wanted, without having to change everything.
So I created a NEW one, and this one I can move everywhere. but the click doesn't work properly. I cannot get the red dash to show
Also when I click the green check is off..
I made sure all the hotspots are ok.
    I left for some fields the +11, +10, -5, -6 out since it didn't made a difference..
Everything else I compared, and I cannot see any other differences as of why the clicking events are so weird.

Could somebody take a look and tell me what I am doing wrong?

    Thank you so much
