Where do i install CD 2 (humble bundle MMF2 user)

Hi All,

This software is great, the only problem is after getting into the tutorial im guided to the OBJECTS folder to select "SugarVertical1". the problm is i dont have that in any of the sub folders and also my objects list doesnt have images of the objects just the names. anyhow i assumed it was because when i downloaded CD2 i didnt have any intall instructions with it OR where to put it? for now i put it into the MMF2 install folder but alas my objects folder still reads local library and CD 1... some advice would be great so i can make my first game.

Hi Vipp,

I also obtained a copy of MMF2 via the Humble Bundle And I too was a little confused as to where the CD2 went...
It would appear that you don't have to "install" the second disc as it just contains bonus material such as backdrops and items etc... So if you place the files anywhere you can just navigate to them via the library.
All of the materials you need for the tutorial however are located on disc 1 and would have installed during the setup. Apologies, as I am not at my Home PC currently, but I do remember scatting about for a few minutes looking for the files needed but they are indeed there. I think I recall double clicking on what I though was an icon for a file, but actually turned out to be a folder containing the files needed for the tutorial. Have another good search and you should be able to find them. If not I will let you know full paths later on this evening when I am at my Home PC.

That's interesting, i will boot the program up and have a look, thank you for the feedback and help i appreciate it. i will come back if it still gives me any trouble, also thank you for the CD 2 info thats helpful too.


EDIT: Okay it's not great to admit to a school boy error but i didn't read the tutorial correctly, it was my fault. i didn't see the instruction to double click the tutorial section that opens the objects up for the game.
im back on form and making my first game.
