Making an escape/point and click game, please help!

Hi. I just got MMF 2 (I know it isn't 2.5 but it looks like quality software) and I had no idea what to make with it. However, after a few days I realized it would be perfect for escape point and click games! Now I haven't tried anything concerning this idea myself yet, I wanted to come here first. I can take pictures of my house/near locations to get the map for the escape game, however there's two things I'm not sure of. 1. How do you insert objects that you can click/interact with (or change parts of the screen to be interactive for that matter), and, more importantly, how do I make an inventory? It needs to be constant throughout the entire game so I'm not sure how I'd go about doing that. It'd be nice if you can combine items in the inventory too, but it isn't necessary. So if you guys could help me out that'd be fantastic. I know there are already threads on this (reading them right now) but if you guys can offer fresh info that would be great. Thanks.

Almost any object can be clicked on, the most obvious one would be the Active Object. You can use animations and more. There is also an Inventory Object.
