Unhappy Creating actions to update score

Hey guys! I'm new to fusion 2.5 and I'm going through the tutorial and am having trouble with updating the score after the ball hits each brick. I follow the steps but when I try to add to score after a brick is destroyed, there is no add to score option. Anyone know??
*one possibility is that since it is an updated version, the tutorial might not have been changed.

How exactly are you updating the score?

    Hello All,

was just about to post about the same issue:

I recently purchased Fusion 2.5 and have been getting familiar with the program, and following the Choco-break tutorial. My problem is that when I arrive at Step 11 I cannot get the game to add points or subtract lives. Specifically, when I am in the event editor and try to right click the blank box on the collision between ball and brick, under the player I do not get what is shown or said in the tutorial. Instead of getting the Score, Number of Lives, and Player Control with it's appropriate sub menu's, I get a Movement, Position, Direction, Animation and so on. I have triple checked all of the following steps, and am wondering if I a missing something or if maybe the program has been updated since the tutorial was written?

You need to look for the "Player 1" object in the Event Editor.

This is what I am trying to do. On the collision between ball and brick line, I am trying to work with the empty box located under player one. Under the player properties it is assigned as player one, but when I hover over the object in the events editor, it just says 'Player.'

No, he means the built-in object called "Player 1". It is the one circled in the screenshot below:

You can click on the screenshot to make it bigger. There are actions for it that allow it to add and subtract the score, and actions for it that allow it to add and subtract the lives.
