Difference between using MoveIt with time and with speed?

When you use MoveIt with time, is this based on the computer clock? If so, would using this be an issue if the game lags? Time seems to work better with what I am doing, but trying to find out if speed is the better choice. Thanks.

Time means the movement takes the entered amount of frames. It isn't ideal if you want the movement to move the same speed no matter how far away the destination is. Speed is for when you want the object to move at the same speed no matter how far away the goal is. I might be able make you an example that shows you what each one does, if you want.

Thanks Happygreenfrog. No need for a sample, that's the exact info I was looking for. Thanks.
