Direct3d9 and Viewport

I'm planning on use Viewport to zoom out in an multiplayer platform game, but with Direct3d9 the active objects don't show up.
There is an way to use shaders while using the viewport object?

An active object with shaders applied showed up in the Viewport object just fine for me.

Have you tried right-clicking the Viewport and doing Order->To Front?

It's working now
I was applying the shader to the frame. I need to apply it to an layer or object other than the viewport.
But it's weird, if i don't apply any effect at all, the actives remains invisible.

Hi, i'm trying to use Viewport with Direct93D but is not working. The image on the viewport just stays black. Do you know what's happening?
