MFA Library Object Viewer Alternative available?

    Dear All,

I did search (generally on Google and within these forums) with no avail, with the exception of a link that never got any replies (http://community.clickteam.com/threads/60451-object-viewer)

I wondered if anything has changed since the 2010 post.

Looking through all the libraries, and dragging them into a form, to see what they look like is time consuming and tedious. I can open the .mfa info MMF2, and double click and it opens in the editor for viewing, but again, time consuming and tedious.

They must be stored in some format for the editor to view them on a double click.

Did anybody ever write something that can generate an explorer style view for looking through them at a glance?

    Regards.

    You can go to "Computer"
Look at your installation folder and bring up the "Lib"folder. Look there. They are in mfa format.

Sorry Marv, I must not have explained myself well enough.

I know how to get to the files and their location, but I was asking if there is a replacement or 3rd party Library viewer, that shows the frames/animations of the object, instead of having to drop an object into a frame and then running the frame.

The inbuilt library would be better, if when you clicked on (for example), Local Library, then hit the plus on 'Games', the on Lib Pack 1, which would list below the category 'Lib Pack 1'- Deluxe Card Pack, Shooterpack - Extra Sprites, etc, and then you can click once on the Deluxe Card Pack, and all the graphics would display on the right hand window. If you double clicked you could see the animation frame?

I don't know if this is a feature that has been introduced into 2.5, i'm going to be buying 2.5 (as I've got the discount voucher code already) but if it's not in 2.5 either, then my question is still current.

    Regards
    Paul.
