Animation frame problem that is taking days from my life...

Hello!

I have spent so much time on this, and still can't get it right so I am hoping someone might have a minute to look at my mfa file. I uploaded it to Dropbox:

I want the animation in the hint button to repeat on consecutive clicks. It runs correctly the first time the button is clicked, the frames will change in the button and a circle that color cycles will display on the screen.
The second time you click the button, the frames in the button don't change, but the circle does come on screen--which indicates that the Group of Events the button is in was activated...why won't the frames change in the anim?
I've gone through the forum and tried all the various suggestions to similar posts but none of them have worked.

Do you see anything that might be obviously wrong?

Any suggestions are much appreciated!!!!!
