You might of messed up the transparent colour, as I see, the true black is the transparent colour.

And if you zoom in into the picture, there is no black, but dark blue, dark purple, and so on. Let me show you:



I created the image highly saturated so you can see the 'false blacks'



See those things round the object? It's these that show up.
You might want to remove them manually or redo your sprite.

TIP: .jpeg are terrible, use .png
