    Hide layers during game?

I was wondering if there was a way to be able to hide any layers used from showing during the game/application play? Instead of hiding individual backdrops or objects together, thought it would be helpful to have the option to hide all objects/backdrops displayed on certain layers.

Again, this is for during play. NOT while coding, or in event editor.

The Layer object has the ability to show/hide any layer during runtime.
