    Yes it is still the same download link.
    It is already nice that you can test it. Thanks for this.
    As you can see in this thread, the first chapter did not raise a huge enthousiasm, although some people on the french forum gave me good and constructive feedbacks.
    I must admit that I do not know why.

    Hi Conceptgame,
    i played the new Version and i worked perfect, but i was not able to defeat the great Dragon in Mission 3 even though i' ve leveled up the two Characters and also the Weapons.

    I d' like to share some Thoughts of Mine about the Game.
    - The Graphics and Music/Soundeffects are very, very Nice and have a Professional Style.
    - No Bugs (as far as i can tell so far)
    - The Story begins very promising (with the Angels) but seems somewhat "lost" during the first few Missions but this could also be my (wrong) impression because i didn' t make it realy far in the Game
    - It' s probably already to late to implement but it would also be nice if the Player could enter the Name of at least the Main-Character and is then also referenced in Dialogs by the Name that the Player entered. This enhances immersion a lot.
    - Some little Puzzle or Mini-Games would also be nice. They could add some variety to the Fighting-Sequences (i know that it' s very Hard and Time-Consuming to impelent such additional Game-Mechanics at the Stage of Development You seem to be now).

    Anyway, i was very positive surprised by the professional look and feel of the Game. I personaly know how much Time it takes to create such a complete Game. Congratulations on what You have achieved. Looking forward for more.
    I also think that the Game-Design-Scene here in Switzerland is still in it' s very early stages. We could probably send a PM to each other to have a nice discussion about how the Game-Design-Scene in Switzerland could be made more "public" and more Relevant.

    Sorry for the late Reply, i was very busy over the last weekend and i couldn' t play the Game to much. I will ofcourse play some more and will report back in this Thread if i find any other Bugs or Things that need Attention.

    Thank you for your great feedback.

    - You are not the first one that was defeated by the dragon boss. I think it is too difficult for the beginning of the game. I will do some fine tuning to balance its power.
    - The graphics and animations are where I worked at most. I am glad to see that you appreciate this.
    - Concerning the story, it is all based on the tale of the angels but my main focus by the first chapter was to raise questions that make the player continue to play to learn more about it.
    Since it is a significant issue, I thought about it and I will integrate like an encyclopedia to tell more about the world background. So the player won't completely feel lost in the first mission.
    - The custom name is a great idea. I will add it until Desura release.
    - I thought a lot about a mini game in the past and I found an idea but did not want to spread my work on too many parts. Since the first chapter is finished, I can work on it again.
    I do not know if I will add it in the first chapter or the second one. I will see, depending on how much work it is.

    I would discuss with you with pleasure about game design in Switzerland. I did not know so much about game design in Switzerland, therefore I made a small search.
    I found not so much but there are really promising things that I do not know about. Especially, the parts with serious gaming, game with pedagogic and therapeutic goals are truly interesting.
    That is where I tend to go by developping the BrainControl extension for example.

    Hi Conceptgame,
    Thanks for the fast Reply.

    - Probably the Dragon-Boss is where you could add some kind of "Mini-Game". Because the Boss does so much damage, it could probably be possible to "dodge" the Dragon-Attack by Pressing the rightButton at the Right Time (for example Up or Down). Another Idea could be that the Boss "summons" some Kind of Magic that hovers in the Air for a few Turns near the Boss before Attacking the Player. If the Player attacks that "hovering Magic" it could explode and do heavy Damage to the Boss. As You can see, i' m a Fan of Surprises, especialy during Boss-Fights.

    - World-Encyclopedia is a very nice Idea to further Enhance the Immersion into the World. Another Trick to add Immersion is to add some Kind of Customization to the look and/or Background-Story of the Main-Character.

    -Probably i' m just dreaming but a "Mode7" World-Map where the Player can navigate freely to certain Points to start Missions would probably also be Nice because it gives the Illusion of being able to explore the whole Continent. Some Missions could open up only after finishing the other Missions (previous Mainquest- or Sidequest- Mission). Also the Airships would make perfect Vehicles to explore the Continent and floating Islands. Anyway, that' s just me dreaming (like i mentioned before) because i also know that it would almost certainly lead to Issues to implement it at this advanced Stage of Development.

    Anyway, i realy wish You big Success with the Finetuning and Finishing of Chapter 2 and 3 of the Game. If i have some more Ideas or find Bugs i will ofcourse inform You in this Thread.

    Still looking forward to the Game eagerly and i hope i' ll be able to defeat the Dragon-Boss next Time (i probably also have to practice somewhat more until i' m able to defeat the Dragon).

    Hi Jahkri,

    One more time, your feedback is really motivating and interesting.

    - The QTE idea with the boss is something I can investigate. I will rather still use mouse button since the gameplay is only controlled with it. I will make some tests and implement something like this.

    - About the look of the character, I began for the same reason to test some variants and noticed that it would take too much time and efforts. Moreover, I still do not have procedural animation in the game so it would take too much disc space and memory with single image. animations.

    - I did not think about "Mode7" but I thought about the possibility to travel freely on the map. The point was: is it interesting for the player if nothing happens? I thought about random encounters but it is something that I do not like in RPG in general. I thought about place to visit like towns or temples but it requires a lot of extra graphics, animations, character designs: I wanted to finish the game and it was typically something that slowed down my work in the past years.

    Hi all,

    The game has made some progress with some improvements on the chapter 1 which should clarify most of the things about the battle system.
    The version 1.3 is now available on Desura:link
    As usual do not hesitate to post a review or give a note, it won't hurt.





    The chapter 2 is on going and I should be able to give some news in the next weeks on the new battle system for air battle.
