    Teacher needs help

Hello there! I am a teacher for a company called Engineering for Kids. I teach MMF2 to 6-16 year olds. What most franchises do is just have kids follow the teacher step by step, where as I have altered my teachings so that the first two classes I introduce them to the different aspects of the program, and the last 4 days they have the freedom of trying to create the game of their choice. I have been able to help them most of the time based off what they are trying to create. However, as you can imagine, the kids have more imagination then what I was trained on to teach. I have done a lot of research on how to do specific tasks, but it's very rare that I find something that replicates what I am looking for exactly. My background is in audio engineering, and graphic/web design (knowing html/css/basic php). So coding isn't necessarily my forte. Is there any documentation that explains every aspect of the program in depth (like a manual?) Reason why I ask, is because I find this interesting (more so then most my colleagues) and would rather have a conceptional understanding of the program rather then just following steps. With that being said, my current project is a kid wants to make a stealth based game (metal gear mixed with mega-man). So current obstacles, allowing character to use grapple hook on certain obstacles (only when he is within distance etc.), allowing the character to go stealth, use melee weapons, and creating the viewing path of enemies (similar to metal gear). I am sorry for the inconvenience but any help is well appreciated. I hope this board is friendly and helpful . Good day to all!

Sure, drop me a PM with your email address and I'll give you a free PROMO code for my video tutorial course at an online university.

There is also the main MMF2 manual and a plethora of example files here on the forum. Lots of stuff on YouTube and what not.

Here at Clickteam, we are developing a new and wide-range of tutorials and guides so it's worth keeping an eye on the forum. I think the video course could be a good introduction for you and the students. Upon completion, you can then download example files, tutorials, guides etc. from all the available resources to continue expanding your development.
