    Face one direction but move opposite

    Hi Folks,

    I'm new here so hello! I'm Jason. I've been using clickteam products since the early days of Klik N Play when I was much younger. I stopped using it a long time ago but something reminded me of it recently so I decided to see if that of Games Factory was still available when I discovered Fusion 2.5 was out. I've bought it now and have been having a lot of fun making my first proper game, which I'm sure I'll be posting more about soon.

    Its a top down shooter sort of game. Everything is going well, but I am having a bit of a problem which I'm hoping someone with a bit more experience might be able to help with.

    Basically, when the enemy is shooting at the player, but the player gets a bit closer I have set it to retreat using directions. The problem is that when the direction changes, so does the animation direction. I was wondering if there is any way to make an animation direction stick, while the movement direction is the opposite if that makes any sense?

    So say, the enemy is walking to the right, but continues to face the player on the left.

    Any help would be greatly appreciated, as at the moment the enemy is shooting backwards which doesn't look ideal.

    I'm not at my pc right now so i can't check but maybe it's possible if you attach the enemy to an invisible object and move that instead so the enemy is free to rotate without affecting it's movement
