Trying to wrap my mind around wraping

For some reason I have never figured out what the Wrap horizontally and Wrap Vertically options in the layer properties does. I have heard they are supposed to make wrapping around the frame easy to do or something like that, but I have never seen any difference when enabling or disabling them. Do anyone have an example of what they actually do?

If you have backdrops then they will wrap, but actives will not. Make a backdrop that is the width of your frame, plonk it in the frame editor, make a scrolling movement and hey presto.

Oh.. I dont generally use backdrops. Is there a reason this does not work with actives?

Perhaps because actives move? Or it's just one of the many wonderful mysteries of Fusion
