    Play sounds over frames

    Hi,

    I have made a game on PC which uses the "play sounds over frames" feature, and it works fine.

    When I export to iOS, some sounds play over frames, other sounds do not.

    I have seen this issue reported in a couple of other threads. However, the advice users gave does not work for me and no official fix was ever made by Clickteam.

    I have tried every single combination of rendering the audio out at different frequencies, ogg, wav, mp3, mono, stereo, etc. Nothing works. Even if I cut the length of the file down from 1 minute to a mere 5 seconds, the audio loop refuses to play over frames.

    Please help me.

    How do you play the sounds? How many are playing at the same time?
    I've never had any trouble when I manage the sounds through designated channels ("Play sample on a specific channel").

    did you try

    View > data elements > sounds >

    and then trying each of the three options: preload, load on call, play from disk?

    I'm not actually 100% sure what they do.. but changing them around has fixed bugs for me in the past >_<

    Only one sound playing at a time.

    The sounds are triggered in the most standard way possible: timer = 01"-00, play and loop sample "musicloop1.wav"

    @DaveC yes i have already tried all these suggestions but no luck, thank you for suggesting though.

    I have literally tried everything possible on my end.

    I get a weirder thing: When my game starts, a piece of music plays, and it plays fine from frame to frame. But if the sound stops (mine stops when it goes to one specific frame), it will no longer play over frames when it's started again.
