Variable jump using mouse - Please help

I've been trying to make a continuous running game for IOS and Android, I've got most of it worked out. Yet I can't figure out how to - if left mouse is held the jump keeps increasing. I've seen it done with a keyboard press, yet I needed a left mouse click. I've implemented Sparkman's awesome tutorial on double jumps seen here

    http://community.clickteam.com/threads/87235-One-Tap-Jump-Example?highlight=sparkman

Yet it's not what I'm after. Any ideas how to implement a variable jump using mouse click only? If anyone can achieve this perhaps it should be put in the tutorial examples along side sparkman's example.

Pretty simple, you need to use the condition "user is holding left mouse" and the action (of the PMO) "user is holding jump in the air"

to change the height/length the player can extend his jump, just play around with the values "gravity", "jump strength" and "jump hold strength" by double clicking PMO object in the frame editor.

I didn't even know that "user is holding jump in the air" existed. That is great, Just what I needed. Thanks gain Dave. By the way your site http://pixelpulsegames.com/ is great.
