    shooting problems

hi I`m new at this and need help with two things. one: I made it so my character can shoot but I only want one bullet on screen at a time. but when I shoot sometimes two are shot at once. how do I stop that? and two: when I shoot the bullet always comes out at the top right hand corner of the character sprite. can someone please help me fix this?

Here's solution for your first problem:
User clicks with left button + Number of Bullet = 0 -> Shoot an object
Sorry, but I don't understand second problem

when I shoot I have a sprite for it but instead of the bullet being shot out of the area of the sprite with a gun it appears near the top right hand corner of the sprite. hope that cleared it up.

The "launch object" function creates an object at the action point of the sprite. Make sure you're setting this where you want the bullet to be shot from on the sprite. Press Q in your image editor to bring up the action point crosshair and line it up with your gun.
