One button 2 different events

Hey Clickteam,

In Zelda games, when Link presses "B" for example in front of a stone, he picks it up. When he then presses "B" he throws the stone. How can I accomplish this? I'm making a game kind of like classic grand theft auto, top down. I want to press "Spacebar" to get out of my vehicle. My vehicle then becomes Static and the player reappears. I also want to press "Spacebar" when the player is overlapping vehicle to get into my vehicle. Thanks Guys!

You could set a global value to 0 when the player is in the car and set it to 1 when he's not.

So when you press the space bar you check the value and execute the action that you want
