I'm wondering if there is a way to give an active object, let's say an NPC, it's own sound. Not simply a 3d pan from an x and Y co-ordinate as some examples have suggested. Rather have the avtive able to move the sound away or just have it built in or something? Get that real doppler effect going. Can the direct 3d sound object do this? If so how (I'm clueless with it).
