My exe-loading exe won't work in Win7

Hi Everyone,

I am using a single frame program in MMF2 to load my executable.
This single frame sets a small window with the simplest of menu (new, about, etc.)
The line of the fram is to load a fixed path executable.
This external fixed path exe is what runs the program0- MMF2 is being used to compress the exe and give me the ability to customize the icon.
It works fine in XP and testers tell me it is fine on Win8, but not Win7?
Run as admin doesn't help. XP SP3 compatibility doesn't help.
I tried not compressing exe. I tried with and without including external files- Variations are all ok on XP.
I even tried the 3 'invoker' options for Vista but it wasn't necessary for other attempts.

the external exe which runs the program works fine on all systems. What am I, or is MMF2, doing wrong?

First thing to do, is in my opinion to check the pathname of the exe you are trying to run in your loader. The problem might be as simple as an incorrect pathname in Windows 7.
I suggest at first you just display it in a string object. This will make things clear.

Hi Francois,
I appreciate the input. Can you please give an example of how one would display as a string. I chose fixed bc that had worked in the past. Not sure how it would only be a problem on some win7 and others simply look inside the folder as expected. I truly appreciate any help you can offer with this.
