AdMob Banner Interstitial Ads Device ID

Q1. I cannot get Interstitial ads to show, either in a test app of mine or in Fernando's example. Banner ads do show though. It is not clear which IDs to set in the AdMob object properties "AdMob Id" and "Interstitial Id". In Fernando's example only the "AdMob Id" property is set. And the IDs he is using have mixed letters and digits, whereas my IDs don't look the same at all:
Publisher ID: pub-XXXXXXXXXXXXXXXX
Ad unit ID: ca-app-pub-XXXXXXXXXXXXXXXX/NNNNNNNNNN (banner)
Ad unit ID: ca-app-pub-XXXXXXXXXXXXXXXX/NNNNNNNNNN (interstitial)
Where Xs and Ns are only digits.

Can someone shed light on this?


Q2. I would like to display both banner and interstitial ads in my app. I think that this is quite possible because AdMob lets me create both banner and intertitial ad units under a single App.
I plan to display banner ads during the levels, and interstitial ads in-between levels. The thing is that interstitial ads must be requested/loaded before being displayed. And since banner and interstitial ads use a different Ad unit ID (see above), I must set different IDs into the adMob object property.
This leads me to ask:
Can I use 2 AdMob objects on a single frame?
Do you have any recommended way to achieve the above?


Q3. For testing purposes I wish to display test ad units. For this I have to set test devices in the AdMob object as indicated in the AdMob object > Help

Testing Devices
Indicates a list of test devices (the device IDs can be separated by commas or new line characters). You can find your hashed Device ID in the logcat output by requesting a test ad when debugging on your device. More info here: https://developers.google.com/mobile...ional-controls

But how do I access the logcat output? I've been searching for hours.

The above looks over complicated to get a simple hashed device ID. Isn't it possible to get it via expressions from AdMob or Android objects?


Q4. Are there recommended settings to make sure that AdMod ads will display? Like "Minimum Android Version", "Target Android Version" or anything else?

I'm using Fusion b283.0, and Android Version 4.1.2 on my test device Samsung GT-S7390G.

Q1: admob Id goes for banner and interstitial only for interstitial

Q2: yes that is possible if you see from G2F2M the eggs mystery you will see that the banner i uses during game and interstitial when you leave the game.

Q3: is not possible and they give you that number, before was the serial, but during testing please use *, they found was not easy to get so you can set * in test devices and should work.

Q4: you have to put min 2.3.1

Thank you for your answers Fernando. I am now able to display interstitial ads too. Unfortunately they crash the application under some circumstances. I believe that it has to do with changing frame, but I'm not 100% sure of this. Did you already hear something similar?

I'll have to do some more tests and I'll keep you posted.
