    The truth to the matter is, no matter what you do, people can and will hack your game eventually, or sometimes almost immediately, and they will get the graphics, and sounds, and musics, and, in some cases, the code. Even developers who have made the most difficult-to-pass anti-piracy measures ever know that to be a fact (and a lot of people who make games with anti-piracy measures build the anti-piracy measures knowing that fact, and instead of trying to make it impossible, they make sure it will take as long as possible to pirate).

    I'm not saying that storing the graphics internally won't help (it (probably) will), but I am saying that in the really long run, if your game is anywhere near worth protecting the graphics of (E.G. it actually gets even kinda-sorta popular (I'd even say maybe ~1,000 sales is a point where it's at least kinda-sorta popular)), it's going to get hacked.

    It would still be nice to know whether or not the limit applies to CF2.5 (I think it does, but compression makes it a significantly smaller problem), since I don't actually know if it was ever confirmed or denied for it.

    That is a very valid point. And one of my games in the past was hacked as well. But I still need to know my limitations as far as file size. The point being making it a task for people to get ahold of the assets. Sure, they can do it. But I wont do the work for them.

    If you're talking about CF2.5, I don't think it's been confirmed or denied. For MMF2, I believe it was specifically stated to be an issue by Clickteam at some point (not sure, though).

    Yeah, I know MMF2 had a 2gb issue, but I just wonder if it was fixed in 2.5 Maybe Francois or Yves can elaborate.
