Question Stopping joints from turning objects by frame start

    Hey guys,

I've been experimenting with fusion's physics lately and have also already completed the AllBoxedUp tutorial.
I have kind of analyzed a pinball tutorial I found on here to explore the functions of joints but when I try to use them for my own experimental program, I don't get them to behave like I would like to.
    Therefore my question:
How do I stop joints from automatically turning objects they overlay?

You could imagine my project like a duct where marbles fall into. On the duct's bottom is a drop, controlled by one joint at its end.
I want the drop to stay still until the user touches it/ keeps it touched. This way he could portion the marbles coming out of the duct.
Unfortunately the joint makes the drop open up rigtht at the start of the frame, losing all marbles to the frame's bottom.
Even if I have the joint removed from the drop and the event to stop marbles touching the drop, they keep falling through the drop after half a second.

Additionally "a touch on an objective is active" does not behave similar to "repeat while mouse key is pressed" when trying the reverse behavior of the drop like a pinball flip.
I attached the two objects' properties as an image and the project (with the pinball's flip & my discarded drop inside) to the thread.cf2.5 joint & drop.jpgplop.mfa

    Could anyone please offer enlightment?
    Thank you all in advance!

You can negate the repeat while left mouse key is pressed and up the angular impulse torque (works but it's still clumsy). Another thing to try would be to look at making the angle of the flipper fixed until the mouse is pressed. If no one else can come up with a solution, I'll look at it tomorrow as it's getting late here.

Yeah, I thought about this with negation and coordination with the event editor. If no one else has a practical solution, I might do it that way, just thought there was an easier way to achieve this.
Thanks for the quick reply anway
