    ISO movement is simple in principle and execution, you just have to multiply the Y speed of your character by the ratio of y size/x size of your iso square. It's easy to mess up as a beginner or if you're trying to use built-in movements, but really but the time you've programmed an RPG you should have a firm understanding of ratios.

    ISO grid is a bit harder but you're really dealing with an array rotated by 45 degrees, as long as you translate it to and from a square grid correctly it's also pretty hard to mess up.

    Yeah that's weird...I have no problems making the RPG itself...battle engine works fine(So far)...adding quests and all that stuff is no problems either...but stuff like movements can have me scratching my head and go "Why the *%"# won't he walk the way I want him to" They really should add a built in isometric movement sometime

    Yes I did! I have that going on as well but I got it on hold for now. I will probably return to it some day but for now I just want to focus on this RPG Working my butt off with this...mainly the battle engine...it's starting to shape up a little though...you can select which enemy to attack...and of course not attack an already defeated enemy(FF1 on nes anyone?!?! hehe)...the selector will jump only to available enemies. You can use items both on yourself and the enemies. I haven't begun working on the use of magic yet but that will also be available. Yeah...I can post another screenie too I guess

    I would make the graphics have pixel art in my opinion, as there is a lot of competition with that kinda graphics

    This is really great! I'd definitely play it. Though, I have to ask. What program did you use to create the 3d stuff.
