    Things Obsidian is Making - First Game Ever

    This is the MFA for what I have done on my Goldfish mini game.

    This is my 2nd day of working on it and this is my first game. I am aware it has many issues. I may take this post down later but I wanted to show what I finished so far.

    Ah Thanks! The Launch button will be helpful if I choose to add more weapon attacks. For right now though, Nekomata only has a melee spear.

    So it's day 3 now. The game is too big to post on this forum anymore.

    Anyway for day3 I fixed;
    -an issue with an item blocking the player from walking past the tree
    -fish no longer swim over bridge and tree
    -player no longer walks over tree
    -spear attack now points in all proper direction (still not attached very well to sprite's arms)
    -added story mode for beginning and ending the game (timing is giving me issues also the events activating it)
    -added help screen which will show the controls (it says use space to stab)

    You can link your file by drop-box if it gets too big. It's fun seeing your progress.

    Day 4 - Real life issues presented no time to work.
    Day 5 - Made Drop Box account
    -Gave Fish a 2 second random direction change which kind of solves the issue of them swimming backwards when they bounce off a wall.

    I still have time so I will look for ways to correct Story Mode so it goes along in the proper sequence, destroy the spear as opposed to leaving it invisible in its position, bring the spear above the bridge layer.

    My older links probably break easy because I keep replacing it with a new file. I also find I can not edit any of my old posts anymore.

    Anyway day 5 I reskinned the spear to match story mode a little.
    -added 2 extra objects one being Shiki's green frog but I didnt make them visible as they don't do anything yet
    -removed help frame and split story mode into start frame and end frame
    -added help menu button to game frame
    -spent hours trying to download android sdk and figure out dialogue work arounds

    Day 6 -changed all dialogue to strings over boxes
    -added a counter to track how many mouseclicks
    -added only run once per event limits to most events to fix problem with paragraphs scrolling to fast (Big thanks to Phi for that)
    -fixed spear position when pointing in northwest corner to be more like the other positions.

    There is not much else I really wanted this game to be capable of doing so I may start a new better project soon.

    Day 7 and 8 - Started new game, its lacking art files right now but that just makes it more colorful with all the placeholders. I have hopes this will end up as a multiplayer of some sort and be a lot larger than my other game. I suppose the gameplay will be mostly secret until the game gets released. I will probably stop updating this post for now.
