    It's a known issue, the Button object in "Bitmap button" mode don't support alpha channel (it was reported in the bug box some time ago http://bugbox.clickteam.com/issues/1942). I think this is not easy to fix, but there is a workaround, you can use Active System Box objects instead (check the Button option in their settings).

    My question is: If it supports alpha channels in MMF why does it not support alpha channels in Fusion?
    It works in MMF2 in standard display mode, but it doesn't work in MMF2 in Direct3D mode.

    It no longer works in CF 2.5 in standard display mode as we dropped the old non-Direct3D versions of the extensions.

    Better use an Active System Box for bitmap buttons if possible.
