Completely lost with Admob

I've been sitting here fiddling with settings, got Admob setup on the site, and can't for the life of me figure out how any of this works. I've seen tutorials for chartboost and others, but even the test admob application included with the developer version I don't find particularly helpful. Is there a tutorial on how all this works somewhere I haven't seen?

there is an example inside the object which explain much of this also the help file and finally the admob page have a help for make the account and the campaign

To be honest the example doesn't explain much, at least not in a way I seem to understand, and the help file has very very little on anything relating to admob. I've made an account and started a campaign, but I have absolutely no idea how to tie that into the app for testing or release purposes.

Ah, found the info inside the object. Honestly didn't know this was a feature. Will read in and see if I can figure this out.
