Question Mobile Cross-platform app and exclusive objects

Hello again my friends, how are you?

I have a little question. I'm developing a game to 3 platforms: iOS, Android and OUYA.

I have a global value that:

when = 0, all specifics group events for iOS it's enabled on start of frame.
when = 1, all specifics group events for ANDROID it's enabled on start of frame.
when = 2 all specifics group events for OUYA it's enabled on start of frame.

So, when I want to compile it for a specific platform, I just put the value that I want and export.

For now everything its fine and running smooth.

But in my project, I inserted all neccessary objects (such as iOS object, Android Object, OUYA Control object, and so on...)
So I have a project with all objects, then when I compile I get a warning saying that a specific object will be ignored (like iOS Object if I compile to Android)...

Well...after talking a lot ...My question is.....I will not have problems in future right? Fusion automatically ignore the object that it's not supported and compile fine....right?

This is a perfect way that I found to have just ONE MFA file to all platforms, and for now its everything ok.

    Best regards!

Hi, this is a good way for multiplatforms. I use this and I don't have problems.
For the next update of fusion, you will have an expression for get the curent export type

Yes, this feature was implemented so you wouldn't get any problems in future builds (or at least shouldn't)...

Didn't had the chance to play with that feature in 284.

    Some questions though.
Are all the images for the startup screens/icons going to be included for the output file that? like I have IOS with 6 images and Android.. When I export as Android.. will it include the images from IOS as well? (since that's like an 3-5 Mb increase sometimes)

    and 2nd..
Are you still getting the errors then from what paobrasil mentioned ?
I usually just ignore them, but I know that those events are not being executed.

I like the whole idea though, since you don't have multiple MFA files anymore for each console.

Yeah but I'm not using 284 build and it new feature.

I just use a global value that enable specific groups......then, I just change the value of this global value in MFA and make a build for the exporter that I want.

I dont know if I will use this new feature in future, because I really like my method

I was doing it like that before.. and was using groups.
    group 1 = Android
    Group 2 = IOS

But I had the impression, that for Android it was including all the startup images as well. since I made a separate mfa and the output size was a lot smaller.
That's why I had that question
