    Global Events in Sub Applications

Hi, just a quick question here, I'm trying to run one frame in conjunction with another via the Sub-Application object. I've got both frames running how I want them and the sub-application works more or less as I'd like it to except for the issue I'm having which seems to be that running the sub-application causes the application to ignore global events.

For example, one global event I'm using is to hide the mouse cursor across the whole of the application but upon loading the sub-application the cursor appears again. Is there a way of forcing the sub-application to follow global events too?

    Thanks in advance

I think my problem may be related to the sub-application being displayed on top of all other objects. Is it possible to order the sub-application within the frame it appears? It's currently in layer 2 of 3 within the frame but is always on top when the application runs.

I think SubApps are always on top. even within layers
Did you try moving the layer, to see if it makes a difference ?

That's a shame if true. I tried the Sub-Application object on a few different layers and it does indeed seem to prioritise on top.

My issue is that my application hides the mouse throughout all the application and an object is always placed at the mouse's current position (so effectively replacing the mouse cursor with an Active object). However, this Active object always appears under the Sub-Application. I've tried placing the cursor in the frame of the Sub-Application and the frame the Sub-Application is in to no avail. I've also used the Bring to Front action everywhere I can think appropriate. The Active object is always under the Sub-Application and I'm not sure how to fix it.

Why not make an identical active object with the same event positioning it to the mouse cursor within the sub application too? If the object is identical then I don't think you will notice the difference.

Sure, it might not be ideal, but it probably will look the same.
