Please help with apppath$

ok! How the ¤%& do I load a picture with Apppath$? I've been trying a long time now and nothing happens. I don't want to force people to put the game in c:\NAME or D:\Whatever. They should be able to put it wherever they want but then the game won't load external graphics. Can someone please tell me exactly how I load an external image into the Active Picture object? What do I write exactly in the expression? As you can see in this picture I included I try to load a file called ufo_0001.png but it displays nothing when I run the game. I have tried Apppath$\Data\ufo_0001.png" , "Apppath$+Data+ufo_0001.png" , "Apppath$+ufo_0001.png" as well but nothing works! (Data is the subfolder where the image is located) but nothing works. Pleeeeease help
