    Question Store Player Animations Externally?

Hey! I'm trying to make a battle platformer similar to the fangame Super Mario War. One idea I'm working with is making it semi-customizable, in the sense that you can create a couple of frames of animations for your player and it reads them from a folder.

Is there a way to do this? I have 4 32x32 frames of Mario: idle, walk, jump, and die. Is there a way to select these files from a folder and have them act as an active object? I see the Active Picture and Animation objects. The Active Picture won't work because if I am looking at this correctly it adds a specific file and I can't seem to figure out how to allow the player to select their own pngs or gif.

    Thank you!

One option is to load the frames into an active object at runtime, you can do this from the animation actions menu I think (I'm not at my PC to check it right now).
