Making Cooperatively in MMF2 - Is it possible?

My question is simple: Is there an extension (or other workaround) available for MMF2 that allows two people to work on the same project at the same time? Like, as if we were screen-sharing, only the one viewing my screen would have their own screen as well, where they can edit things as well? I feel this would be a valuable thing to have, if at all possible without violating something or other. I would just Google this, but I haven't found the right words to describe it as I have here in so short a way.

    Thanks in advance,
    Ethan

Well, no extensions exist for this. However, there is a program called Teamviewer that can do pretty much what you're describing. I mainly use it to help my friend Ryan install and/or fix things on his computer, but it can be used for other things such as this.

Well, while I have to admit that that isn't what I'm looking for, thank you for your help, anyways.

Don't you think this would be a cool thing to have, though? It seems interesting enough to me.

It would be cool to have, but, unfortunately, I think it would be a bit difficult for Clickteam to implement, though maybe we'll see something a bit like that for Fusion 3...

However, as of now, if you, say, design your game to store levels externally, then you could have someone open an external level editor on their and build levels there while you are coding the game, and then have them send you the levels, and you can in turn send them the latest version of the level editor every time you update it. Similar deal with graphics, though there you don't even need to make your own program, and you don't even necessarily have to store them externally, since you can import things such as PNG files in CF2.5 active objects, meaning one member of a team could work on graphics while the other works on the programming side of things, and if both team members are good at graphics and designing levels, and they both know how to use a similar enough graphics style, then you're pretty much set when it comes to splitting jobs, and I haven't even started talking about making musics, or if you have 3 team members each good at one of those things in just the right combination to have one person for each job...

The point is that, with a bit of creativity, you could still have multiple people working on the game at the same time.

As the responses already here have stated, no such feature exsits I'm afraid. The next generation of Fusion may be your best bet.

The idea of Teamviewer might not work, since only one user can use the computer at a time.

There is another option: You can make the use of external sub-applications (which use the .ccn extension) and have a "master" app that links these sub-applications together. It would allow you to split the program up into chunks and have different people working on different parts. Of course you'll need to plan this, particularly if they were to share global values/strings, and it might not work for all types of applications/games. You could even sync these with a shared folder service like Dropbox.

One thing to note is that the parent application must have the extensions used in the child sub-app, otherwise it will return a "not found" error.
